潘文国主编的《中国经典文化走向世界丛书(诗歌卷1)(英文版)》为我社全英文版“中国经典文化走向文化丛书”诗歌卷之一，即《英译诗经国风》的英文部分。本书包含160首“国风”诗歌，即来自周南、召南等周朝十五个地区的民歌，其中有“关关雎鸠”“坎坎伐檀”等名篇。汪榕培先生给出了高水平的英译，他的译诗充分采用了英美诗歌的创作方式，兼顾音步、格律和押韵，把两千多年前的中国诗歌转换成了晓畅易懂的现代英语韵律诗。希望本书能为“中国经典文化走向文化丛书”增添丰富多彩的文体和内容，为推广中国文化做出贡献。

汪榕培，1942年生，著名学者、英语教育家、翻译家，在英语词汇学、典籍英译和中西文化比较研究等方面成就卓著。先后在大连外国语大学、苏州大学、大连理工大学等校担任教授兼博士生导师。发表论文六十余篇，出版论(译)著五十余部，主审各类论(译)著和词典二十余部。专著包括《比较与翻译》《陶渊明诗歌英泽比较研究》等，译著有《英译老子》《英译易经》《英译诗经》《英译庄子》《英译汉魏六朝诗三百首》《英译孔雀东南飞·木兰诗》《英译陶诗》《陶渊明集》《英译汤显祖戏剧全集》等，其中八种已入选《大中华文库》，还泽有折子戏剧本五十余出，为中国文化走向世界做了大量工作，在学术界获得广泛赞誉。
