2018年6月4日中国社会科学院欧洲研究所、16+1智库交流与合作网络、塞尔维亚国际政治经济研究所共同举办的第四次中国—塞尔维亚圆桌会议——“一带一路下的中国和巴尔干国家合作研究”在京召开，来自塞尔维亚、北京、上海、河北等地的40余位学者参加了会议。刘作奎、伊凡娜·拉德杰维克主编的《一带一路倡议下的中国-巴尔干国家合作(2019)(英文版)》系本次会议中外专家发言与讨论集结而成，涉及中国的全球地位和角色、“一带一路”下的中塞关系、“16+1”合作与“一带一路”等议题。
