本教材为《英语听力入门3000》的修订版，在原版基础上增加了访谈、讲座、影视作品等视频材料，以满足全国各地院校日益增长的对视听说结合型教材的需求。通过视频材料与穿那套听力材料结合，可以增强对学生的兴趣刺激，贴近现实中的交际情境，推动传统听力课程像视听说课程类型转化。

徐卫列，华东师范大学外语学院副教授，主持外语学院英语专业学生听力课程教学工作，教学经验丰富，曾出版教材有：英语听力入门2000、英语听力入门3000、英语听力教程等。
