本教材由两大模块组成：模块一机械部分 (ME)、模块二电源(Eletricint )和电子(AV)介绍，全书共分为14课。模块一的内容包括机械部分的系统。对飞机操作系统、空调与增压系统、燃油系统、液压系统、气动系统、引用水及废水及发动机润滑油七个学习情境进行了专业的英文介绍。模块二对飞机上的通讯系统、电源系统、外部电源、导航、通信、防火、灯光、警告七个学习情境进行了专业的英文介绍。这些英语学习情境结合航空专业材料，通过听、说、读、写、译的语言训练，使学生轻松掌握飞机主要系统的英文术语、专业词汇、缩略词、高频句型与难句，让学生能够读懂英文资料。
