《新时代明德大学英语阅读教程》是一套与《新时代明德大学英语综合教程》紧密关联，但又有自身鲜明特点的教材。本教材以价值引领作为鲜明特色，侧重学生英语阅读能力培养，兼顾国家对外语教育的时代需要和学生对外语学习的现实需求，坚持课程思政引领，贯彻党的二十大精神，落实立德树人根本任务，以价值塑造为导向，强调育人功能，力图实现知识传授、能力培养和价值引领的深度融合。全套教材共4册，每册8个单元。每册均涵盖社会主义核心价值观公民、社会、国家三个层面的相关主题（各2个单元），另外2个单元主题或结合党的二十大精神，或着重体现中国文化。在单元结构上，每单元均涵盖Objectives, Quotes, Comprehensive Reading, Reading Skills, Project等9个板块的内容。本书为第三册。
