What impressed me most about Fireworks... is James A.Moore's remark-able ability to paint a detailed portrait of an entire town. It was that aspect of Stephen King's 'Salem Lot which first alerted me to the fact that here was a talent,here was someone to watch. I had the same feeling while reading Fireworks.

Chris Corin has the unshakable feeling that he's being followed.And he's right. But he doesn't know what's after him, what waits in the shadows.
