义乌丛书编纂委员会编著的《义乌墨韵（英文版）》是在编撰《义乌市志》过程中产生的一大成果。该书展现了到目前为止，我们还能见到的义乌先贤创作的书画作品和外地艺术家反映义乌的书画作品。从今天义乌发现的最早文字《乌伤空丞印》，到隋碑、唐砖、宋题记、元书画、明题跋、清对联和民国时期散落于民间的东阳画师的壁画等，四水归堂，都被囊括其中。

Yiwu is a land of the deep cultural accumulation,that age-old history gave her the fairly rich humanism connotation. The Everlastihg Charm/n Artistic Works of Yiwu has the vision which passed through the ancient and modern times, retrieved the essence of Yiwu history, explored the main points of Yiwu culture. The whole book is divided into eight chapters,such as: the flowing rhyem of Wushang, art of gold-stone engraving, a sketch of military affairs,merchants and town shops, eminent figures in Yiwu,folk customs and traditions, relics of preceding generations of Yiwu, and collections of fine literary works. The texts are completed with pictures which reveal the prevalency of Yiwu Confucianism, and the plenty of Yiwu cultural remains. From it, the reader may appreciate the Yiwu distant history and her mellow cultural traditions, so as to feel this land full of liveliness, prosperity, leisure and comfort once upon a time.
