In the late 1990s, David Carson published his first book--The End of Print, which seemed to announce the end of the print media. Irrevocably, in the 1980s,since the invention of the Personal Computer and the insertion of the use of such computers into the print media industry's workflow, these computers have made a significant impact in the industry. Nol only is the Print Industry affected,but the pre-print production and workflow pipeline received a whole new makeover. Modern print designers cannot easily fathom the workflow of a print designer 20 years ago, especially the pre-print preparation part, as the originalcompanies that handled this area have all but vanished one after another.
