《圣经文学导读(普通高等教育十一五国家级规划教材)》由黄宗英主编，全书43万字，分为“圣经创世”、“圣经故事”、“英雄故事”、“圣经史诗”、“圣经悲剧”和“圣经诗歌”等六个篇章，旨在“解释圣经关键词句、解读圣经人物事件、揭示圣经文脉关联、挖掘圣经文学魅力、窥见圣经人生意义。”

这部教材资料翔实、可读性强，不仅可以用作高校英语专业相关课程的教材，而且可以成为广大英语读者了解西方文化源头的一个良师益友。该教材的正式出版将进一步拓展我校西方人文素质课程教学的品质，同时为我国高校圣经文学教学与研究提供有益的借鉴。
