大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛组委会编著的《大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛优秀作品选编(第6届)》是每两年一次的大学生嵌入式系统邀请赛获奖项目的论文，《大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛优秀作品选编(第6届)》内容主要是方案设计、方案原理、框架、实现功能，具有很强创新性和参考价值。

“大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛”由教育部高等教育司、工业和信息化部人事教育司主办，旨在培养学生的综合能力和创新精神，促进境内外高校之间的交流。第六届共有来自中国大陆、中国香港、新加坡、马来西亚、印度、墨西哥、哥斯达黎加、阿根廷、巴西、美国、俄罗斯等12个国家和地区、76所高校的160支参赛队。

编入大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛组委会编著的《大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛优秀作品选编(第6届)》的仅是第六届大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛中获得一等奖和二等奖的28篇作品。作品首次采用英特尔第一款可配置的凌动处理器平台E6x5C系列作为指定的设计平台，在软件方面引入可定制化的嵌入式Linux系统——Yocto系统，将学生从繁琐的底层系统配置中解放出来，从而将精力集中在开发上层应用程序上。《大学生嵌入式系统专题邀请赛优秀作品选编(第6届)》参赛作品由学生自主选题、自主设计，主要涉及智能生产与生活、多媒体与人机交互、物联网人性化服务等多个领域，涌现出大量紧密结合行业热点，市场需求的创新设计成果。每篇作品均附有“评审意见”。
