本报告对常规转型情景和再电气化情境下我国能源和电力从当前到2050年的转型路径进行了展望和比较。为有效支撑新时代中国特色社会主义发展的“两阶段”战略安排，2018年度将2035年和2050年作为展望分析的重点水平年。同时，2018年度还增设了专题研究，对能源互联网功能特征、煤炭消费减量化、能源高质量发展实现路径等热点话题展开了分析研究，以期为能源电力发展的中长期路径选择提供参考与建议。
