本书构建了系统的马克思宏观经济数理模型，对宏观经济的主要实体经济变量进行系统讨论，形成马克思宏观经济学体系，构成了宏观经济分析与政策制定的理论基础，不仅在理论上推进了经济学的发展，而且，也为有效分析我国现实经济运行建立了科学的理论分析基础，同时，还克服了现代西方宏观经济模型的一系列理论困难。马克思宏观经济模型的系统构建，不仅具有重大的理论价值，而且也具有重大的现实意义。

白暴力，1954年生，1992年晋升经济学教授，1993年起享受国务院特殊津贴，现任北京师范大学教授（二级）、博士生导师、当代经济理论研究中心主任；出版学术著作32部，发表学术论文200余篇，获学术成果奖30项，其中省部级以上奖18项；代表作《价值价格通论》，在国家社会科学基金鉴定时，被认为是“一部有显著创新性的成果”，“实现了价值价格理论上的革命，具有价值价格理论发展中的里程碑意义”，获得北京市第10次哲学社会科学优秀成果一等奖（特等奖提名）。
