科技进步是农业产出增长的不竭动力。在资源和环境约束下，依靠农业科技进步是促进我国农业持续发展的主要支撑和必然选择。而良种技术的采用和推广是农业科技水平提升的重要方面，对农业产出水平的提高有着重要的影响。因此，科学测算种业发展对农业增产的贡献水平显得尤为重要，该项工作历来受到政府部门的高度重视。本书旨在提出良种增产贡献率科学测定方法，跟踪评价优良品种对农作物单产水平提高的贡献程度，并在研究的基础上提出促进我国农业持续健康发展的政策建议。本研究对丰富和完善良种增长贡献率测算方法科学衡量我国种业发展水平，提升农业产出水平和竞争力水平等有着重要意义。

钱加荣，研究员，博士，中国农业科学院农业经济与发展研究所技术经济研究室副主任，中国技术经济学会农业技术经济分会理事，长期从事农业科技进步、农业生产率、油料产业经济等研究。主持各类研究课题30余项，其中国家社会科学基金项目2项、省部级课题3项（农业农村部、人力资源和社会保障部、教育部）；在Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics、AgriculturalEconomics、《农业经济问题》《农业技术经济》及日本主流农业经济类期刊，以第一作者或通讯作者发表论文20余篇，相关文章被中国人民大学复印报刊资料全文转载；出版学术专著2部；应邀参加国际农经大会、世界银行学术会议、亚洲农经大会等重要国际会议并作主旨报告10余次。
