本书主要针对如何以英文微视频为载体向世界传播中国文化研究性作品，是一部社会科学领域内，国际传播方向的著作类图书。全书共分为四章，分别为中国故事、中国文化、绿色发展、中国巨变等。每一章选取九个话题，通过英语短篇复训练习、短视频设计构思、学习成果展示、成长档案四个模块，从不同角度有针对性启发和指导学生制作英文微视频，向世界展示真实、立体、全面的中国力量、中国形象和中国智慧。同时，每一章选用一幅由国家一级美术师王仁祥提供的油画来辅助章节主题，助力传播中华文化。本书的直接受众不仅是学习大学英语的学生，更包括中国千千万万致力于弘扬中国文化的有志之士，间接受众则是欲了解中国文化的外国人。
