The exhibition Inspiration Dior at the Pushkin Museum is a landmark event. Contemporary Haute Couture is appearing with increasing frequency in the exhibition halls of the world's largest museums.This is not the first event of this sort at our museum. On the occasion of previous exhibitions, the architecture and interior of the Pushkin museum complimented the architectural and sculptural expressiveness of couturiers' creations, thus placing them in the context of culture. To develop this theme further, the organisers of this exhibition have come up with an even more radical approach by placing these works of Haute Couture in a direct dialogue with other works of art.
