The film is a combination of two comedies of Branislav Nusic - "deceased" and "Ozaloscena family." After knowing that the woman cheating, engineer Maric, with the idea to make samubistvo, leaving the house. After his funeral, his wife and her lover counterfeit Testament and thus failing to inherit the entire property of the deceased.
